first bath...a family affair

We decided it would be fun to give Katie her first bath during Family Home Evening.  Well, it wasn't all bliss.  There was a lot of yelling and pushing and crying to get a better look which made Katie not happy either.  It lasted a total of 4 minutes.  But once she was all clean and lotioned and dressed she was wide awake which she really hadn't before.  It was like she was a little kitten opening her eyes for the first time.

Ski Season

This year we waited all of January for snow.  And we had to push back Quincy's and Sophie's lessons till February.  They didn't get in the same day so we were taking two trips up the mountain a week for a month.  This is the only shot I got (blurry and boring).  Matt took Sophie's digital camera with him to capture them in action but I can not figure out how to upload the pictures to the computer. 

They have gotten very good and confident in their abilities.  Quincy loves to ski through the tree trails and can even get a little air.  Sophie takes her time but makes it look effortless.  Henry will have his turn next year and I can not wait to dust off my skis, too!
