Thanksgiving 2007

We drove to Wilmington Delaware on Thanksgiving day to be with my Aunt and Uncle and two cousins. My cousin Susanne has two boys the same ages as our two. It was an awesome meal and a great time to be with family. Their neighborhood could be in an ad for the fall. It was gorgeous.

NYC Trip

Sophie, Quincy, and I went to New York City to visit my friends Shima and Jeff for three days.
Shima and I were roommates at BYU. They are living the Cosby family life, he is a doctor and she is a lawyer. It is amazingly hard work to be able to have two children in the city, but if anyone can do it its them. Thanks for having us guys!!!!

We hopped on the train in Baltimore and got to New York in 2 1/2 hours.

My friends have two children, Kian and Darian.

Fun times at FAO Schwarz.

Remember BIG with Tom Hanks

Old Man winter is knocking on the door.

We got to go to our first Broadway play, How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Sophie was freaked out for the first half because she thought the Grinch was scary. I guess I should have reread the book to her before we went. By the end she was clapping and laughing.

The Life of the Little Pink Blanket

November 3, 2007 was a sad day in our house. Sophie lost her little blanket at the mall. We searched high and low, leaving our name and phone number at several stores. This blanket has been with Sophie since birth and from the beginning she has loved it. It had been a wonderful companion and we will all miss it deeply. Hail to the Blanket!
