Halloween

I am the cutest giraffe in town.

Princess Fiona and one of her little babies.
Come on Trick-or-Treaters we are ready.
Wow, thats a lot of candy I guess we will have to help you eat all that.

Eve of Halloween

At preschool Sophie had a little Halloween program and party. Sophie knew all the songs but every time she made eye contact with me she got all shy and made a face that her cousin Dustin use to make. The face, "Don't look at me I am not having fun but I am having fun but I am trying to hide it".
That night we attended the Westminster Halloween parade. Very Spooky!
Matching Halloween pj's.

Pretty!

This is what happens when I try to quickly update the blog.

Annapolis

The city of Annapolis is one old city with all cobblestone streets and a beautiful capital building. It sits right on the water and the bay is filled with sailboats. So far this has been our favorite sight seeing trip in Maryland.

Matt was very excited about the Naval Academy. He was fascinated with all the students in uniform and them answering yes sir to his questions.
This is the largest college cafeteria in the country. Believe me Matt will be using that little college trivia for a very long time.

Sophie is enjoying a speech given by Thurgood Marshall.

Family trip to Arkansas

Sophie loved playing with her cousin, Kannon.

We got to celebrate Nana's birthday!

Matt and I enjoyed a children free hike along the Buffalo National River.

Fun to be had up in Branson. We went to Sliver Dollar City and tried out a show, but Sophie was not into it. (It may not appear like it but my dad did have fun.)

Papaw taking Sophie and all her princesses to the ball. First they must go through the enchanted forest.

Not only did we get to hang with family I also got to go for a visit down memory lane when we went to my high school reunion.
It was great seeing my friends and introducing them to my wonderful husband.
To my surprise many are married and lots of them have children. My little family fit in just perfectly. Most still live in Arkansas, but there is a select few that have ventured out of The Natural State. GO BOMBERS!

Columbus Day

Sophie enjoys riding her scooter and she is really getting the hang of it!

Our neighbors are gone and we are so sad.

We will miss you Sofia and baby Maya.
Good Luck in Texas!
