Brother and Sister

Memorial Day

Great fun at the DC zoo!
We can't believe how close we are to so much cool stuff. We drove 35 miles to a metro station and in 4 stops we were at the zoo. The best part it is FREE!

Heading down under to the subway.

If you are going to watch a parade on Memorial Day it might as well be at our nations capital.

Sophie loved the bands. She is into brass instruments because Quincy(maybe this is where we came up with the name) on Baby Eisenstein plays all of them. She was a little disappointed that there were no princesses, oh well.

This is what Quincy thought of the whole thing.

Its getting HOT!

Another hiking attempt

Cunningham Falls State Park is about 35 minutes from us. It has a small lake with a beach and a few trails that lead to a big waterfall. We went on a one mile trek and about half way Matt carried Quincy so I could put Sophie in the sling. Wish we had a picture of that.

75 percentile

Quincy went to the doctors today for his one month check-up. He is 10lbs. 10oz. and 23 inches long. He still is gassy so we are switching to soy formula for a couple weeks.

Sophie got a kick out of Quincy fitting in her doll stroller.
