Sliver City, Idaho

The only reason I am documenting this little side trip we took on Labor Day is so we never have to go again.  It was told by many that this place was an amazing old mining town now considered a ghost town.  Two hour drive with over 20 miles on a dirt road to this town up in the mountains.  Once we got there we found ourselves stuck in TRAFFIC with big trucks and four wheelers and more people living up there than Cash, Arkansas. Sure for somebody who has never been to gold mines in Tahoe and never been to some of the oldest places in American history back east this place could be some what interesting.  All and all children were troopers and made their own fun throwing rocks and peeing in bushes.

After the ghost town adventure we stopped at a hot springs pool.  Not the best thing to do on a hot day but again children had fun.
