Last Day of 2nd Grade

Last day with friends Dina and Natalie.

Sophie has had a terrific school year.  She averaged a 98% on her weekly spelling test.  Learned a ton in math and excelled in reading.  She loved being in the advance reading group. They read Island of the Blue Dolphin, which I am pretty sure I didn't read till 7th grade. She got to do research on the computer and spend a lot of time in the library.  She loved her school librarian so much that she would like to become an elementary school librarian and high school track coach (her own words).  She also has done very well in P.E. class.  Running a half of a mile in 3.07 placing her the second fastest kid in her class.
Her BFF's (as she calls them) are Ruby, Ciel, and Dina. 
Sophie's favorite song this year has been Katie Perry's Firework.
She loved reading Ivy & Bean and Mercy Watson series and all the American Girl books.
One of her favorite shows is Phineas and Ferb.
And the Spy Kid movies have been watched many times this school year.
Art projects, reading, playing imaginary games with her brothers, dancing (lots of dancing) and organizing her room have been keeping her busy, too.
She is becoming a smart, neat, happy, beautiful, and fun girl!
