What a wonderful 39 hours! Running is not an individual sport.  This is the first time in over ten years I have had a running partner and it makes everything so much better.  Rebecca and I trained only once a week together but it was always for the long runs. The most important thing that made it all so much more fun was being together for the drive, Expo, shuttle buses, line at the bathroom, and the starting line!  

The drive from Boise to Eugene is ugly and boring until you reach Bend
